Hi!

My name is Jake Moguel. I’m a visual artist and illustrator from Los Angeles who has BA in film production from Cal State Northridge and an MFA in illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. My work is rooted in observational drawing, where I fill sketchbook after sketchbook to create an expansive visual library that I then take to my studio practice to create energetic yet sensitive work. In the studio, I believe in the collaboration between conceptual and narrative art to make pieces that are both thoughtful in message and visually striking. I’m always excited to draw and paint fun pictures with important themes!
